I took a hike
My owner is mike
I got a bike.

I got flowers
They got powers
I took a shower
Then i cower.

I took a quiz
I got in a tizz
Then i got a pan
And used the fan

He rolled into mud
And very badly stank.

He got loads of bubbles

And every one laughed.

My friends and me
Came to see
A big fat
Bumble bee



The bee got away
And we said
Hurry up go to bed



We caught the bee
and had to say yippee
We let him go and he was very flippy

Eating lizards one by one
Lying in its cave
Getting warm by the sun.

Thumping around
Swishing his tail,
A really big sound.

My marvellous monster
Is a magnificent muddle
His eyes are on his tummy
And really likes to cuddle


My marvellous monster’s
Name is Bob. He doesn’t
Have much money because he
Doesn’t have a job


My marvellous monster
Met his friend.
They had a big fight
And that was the end.

Kahikatea`Swimming Carnival

On Friday last week Kahikatea Syndicate had our swimming carnival. We were supposed to have 33 events but we stopped at about 25 because people were getting cold. The best events were the piggy back race and the kickboard races. In the underwater race Joey swam a whole length. It was a great effort.
