Mask Parade

We practised for the mask parade and sometimes we went around our front field one or two times. On Friday we walked halfway round town. We wore gold wigs, masks and black clothes and held trees. We walked for 45 minutes and we won first prize.

Storm water

We should be careful about what gets in our gutters because.
If the branches of leaves get into the gutters the water will make a flood and wash away the road.
If a house gutter becomes blocked water may leak into the house.
What ends up in the rivers and could kill our fish and pollute the ocean.

Air Pollution

What understand about air pollution? In winter There has been a lot of fires that Creates smoke which produces air pollution in Nelson. Cars and trucks burning petrol makes smoke that increases the air pollution. Air pollution can kill people. A match can make fire but fire makes air pollution.
